A community website for the village Cumulus calls home — a searchable directory of local businesses, events, village news and campaigns, with self-service listings for business owners.
Hersham is a very special village at the heart of Elmbridge in Surrey, home to a diverse and vibrant community of local shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and salons. But that community had no single place online to discover what's on its doorstep, hear village news, or rally around the issues that matter — like protecting local Green Belt land from development.
Cumulus is based in Hersham, so this one is personal. We designed and built a community platform around a searchable directory of local businesses — from food and drink to health and beauty, schools and nurseries — where owners can claim and manage their own listings through self-service accounts. Alongside it sit village events, the Hersham News section and the Hersham Village Matters newsletter, keeping residents informed on everything from what's on to planning applications affecting the village.
